Does this mean I need reading glasses?

  That means you have got nearsightedness and need glasses for distance. reading glasses are needed when people can't focus on the near objects, like reading books. Since you can read without glasses, you don't need reading glasses at all.

  If you can see clearly without wearing any glasses, you don't need reading glasses, instead, you only need to take your glasses off when you read books. If not, you need reading glasses or bifocals both for reading and seeing far.

  You don't need reading glasses as you can see clearly without glasses.reading glasses are mostly needed for people over 40 who have presbyopia.

  You need to remove the glasses to read because your glasses are for distant seeing and when you wear them to read,your vision may be affected.
