Can allergies cause photophobia?

Is it possible that allergies can lead to photophobia?

    Well, yes, allergies can lead to photophobia. As we know that many different diseases, disorders, problems and conditions can be the causes. So the allergies or an infection which irritates the eyes and then it can cause photophobia. Also, people with depression, pain, high blood pressure, multiple sclerosis are possible to have photophobia. And when you are anxious, it will lead to high blood pressure. And then the photophobia will occur. Anyway, it can be caused by many factors.

    Well, I believe you have little knowledge about photophobia. So,as far as I know, it is resulted from a variety of reasons, such as problems with your pupils, your corneal, as well as some other diseases in relation to your eyes. And sometimes, indeed, photophobia could be resulted from allergies, or an impaired immune system. So, you should consult a doctor and take timely treatment.

    Some people with photophobia are born to be. However, the allergies will cause the photophobia too. Photophobia is a symptom of disability of tolerance to visual perception of light. It is a medical symptom. Besides as a morbid fear or phobia, photophobia is an experience of discomfort or pain to the eyes due to light exposure. It is a presence of actual physical photosensitivity of the eyes. It is not suitable to meet with the lights which will make eyes feel uncomfortable and pain. There are many reasons to cause the photophobia. When there is too much light entering the eye which is damaged, such as with corneal abrasion and retinal damage, the pupil is unable to constrict normally. Such the eyes will be damaged at the oculomotor nerve. If you have the keratitis which is not cured, your eyes will be feared when meeting with the strong lights outside which will hurt your eye nerves. In addition, the overstimulation of the photoreceptors in the retina may cause the photophobia too.
