  As the name implies, athletic sunglasses are made for athelte. They are also named as sports sunglasses or goggles. And to meet the requirements of athelte engaging in different games, there are types of athletic sunglasses that are made accoding to the features of different sports. For example, there are swim goggles for swimming, basketball sunglasses for playing baskeball and cycling sunglasses for clycing. All of those sports sunglasses can be called as ahletic sunglasses.

Moreover, polycarbonate lenses are lightweight, impact resistant, so they are safe to wearers. That's why they are widely used in sports eyeglasses and kids eyeglasses.
