That is because the skin of the eyes is very sensitive to the bath when the water temperature is too high, resulting in the pores diastolic. So, it is not recommended to scrub hard. If you are not with heavy makeup, there is no need for excessive cleaning of the skin here. Taking into account where the skin is very loose, using the ring finger gently with circular cleaning will be ok. At the same time, you should not use eye cream too much. If the eyes are ok after a while, then there is no need to worry about your eyes, maybe you just need to rest them. If the symptoms persist for a long time, you had better to look a doctor.

Do the shower gel or the shampoo enter into your eyes? If so, it may stimulate your eyes and arouse the red ache. You should use the clear water to wash around your eyes. Then keep on using eyedrops and have a good habit of using eyes, letting them have a good rest. If not so, your situation may belong to the allergic problem which is caused by the changing climate. Then, what you should use is the antihistamines to do the clam effect which will help you protect from the inflammation and itch.

When your eyes become pink or red, that means they suffer some stimulates. You need remind if you get some soap or shampoo into your eyes. If the answer is yes, you should wash your eyes with clean water and then have a rest. That would be not big problem. However, if your pink eyes are caused by other reasons, I am afraid you need see a doctor. If it is infection, you need use some medicine drops. So the first thing you should do is to find what the reason is lead to your pink eyes.
