What are the side effects of wearing an eye patch on a good eye?

  Children with lazy eyes would wear eye patch to make the other eye stronger. But as you have good eyes, I think there would not make any difference and it won't cause any problems.

  If you do it for a long time, it will make your good eye weakened because the eye muscles of your good eye can't be exercised effectively. Just like you don't use your left hand as often as the right one, then the left one is not as strong as the right one.

  Ah, the first question is, are you wearing eye patch as a way to sleep better or just for medical purposes? Simply, wearing an eye patch wouldn't do harm to your eyes, let alone making them worse. The only thing you need to take care of is that do not wear the eye patch much too tight so as not to pressure your eyes.
