Can you get pink eye from eyelash extensions?

  Yes, you may get the pink eyes because of using the eyelash extensions. When the eyelash extensions are used by other people with pink eyes, you will easily get the pink eyes too. The commonly known pink eye is infectious conjunctivitis, also called outbreak. It is an acute infectious ophthalmia which owns different causes. It can be divided into bacterial conjunctivitis and viral conjunctivitis. And the clinical symptoms are similar. It can be easily happened in spring which is infected through contacting with people with eye disease. When you touch the things owned by people with pink eyes, you will get pink eyes easily because the pink eyes are contagious. It is commonly happened in public places.

  Well, yes of course, it is possible that you might get pink eyes by using some inferior eyelash extensions. Because as you can see, these products are purely chemical and toxic to your eyes, which is the breeding ground for a lot of bacteria, maybe the contact with such eyelash extensions will lead to some infections of your eyes, including pink eyes. Therefore you should be very careful of avoiding the contact with the extensions. Better yet, try to discard them.

  The answer is yes, there is a real example, one of my friend got pink eyes several weeks ago, then she went to the hospital, the doctor do some check stuff on her eyes, then came out a conclusion--infection by the eyelash extensions. Then my friend went home then throws all the eyelash extensions into dust bin immediately. Then she went to a beauty center to consult about this issue. A consultant tell her, her method of using eyelash extensions is not right, and suggested her to use some high-quality extensions with right steps without any touch with the eye. They are so sensitive.
