What causes my upper lid to feel heavy?

Recently I often feel part of my upper lid is heavier than the other eye. It seems to be better when I wet them with tears or eye drops. But there is nothing wrong with my vision. How does this happen?

There may be a dry area on your eye that cause your upper eyelid to feel heavy. You can use lubricating eye drops to treat this problem for a period of time and then it will disappear. However, the best way is to see your optometrist. He will check your vision and the health of your eye to find out the exact reason that cause the problem.

It may be caused by dry eyes. You can try to use some lubricating eye drops , and use it at least four to five times a day to see if it work. If you are still in doubt, it is best to see your optometrist.
