What are the supplements or treatment for Macula degeneration?

I have been diagnosed as having macula degeneration of the eyes. Is there any supplement or treatments available which can reverse this degeneration?

    Although there is no special treatment to reverse this degeneration, there are some basic nutritional therapies that can be used to delay the progression of Macula degeneration. You can eat fruits and green leafy vegetables which are rich in carotenoids, such as Lutein and Zeaxanthin. Or you can take supplements which contain these substances.
