Are plastic glasses frames more fragile?

  In my opinion, the plastic frames of eyeglasses are better because they are lighter and less burdensome to your eyes, however the metal frames tend to be more fragile.

Generally speaking, they are durable, shock resistant and are suitable for long wear.

  Plastic frames are non-sensitive and light enough to be suitable for children and people of all ages. However, their weakness is that they are easily deformed, but not easily broken. If you're looking for delicate craftsmanship, you may consider titanium and metal frames.
