What people are at the high risk for glaucoma ?

I just want to know that what people are at the highest risk for glaucoma? Is there any thing that i can do to prevent it?

    Well, generally speaking, there are many people who suffer glaucoma. And it can be very dangerous. And in common, people with abnormally high intraocular pressure can be possible to have glaucoma. As we know that High IOP is the most important risk factor for glaucomatous damage. Also, glaucoma appears to run in families. The tendency for developing glaucoma may be inherited. By the way, people who have diabetes, myopia, a previous eye injury, and extremely high or low blood pressure can just be more careful about glaucoma too. To prevent it, of course, you should go and have eye exam regularly.

    Usually people with cataract may have high possibility to get the glaucoma. And those with high eye pressure are also prone to get glaucoma which is the serious eye problem. In order to prevent it, you'd better have the good rest for the eyes. You should also keep the healthy diet to make your eyes get moisture. You should eat more food with vitamin C to moisture your eyes.

    Glaucoma is an eye disease in which the optic nerve is damaged in a characteristic pattern. This can permanently damage vision in the affected eyes and even lead to blindness if left untreated. And as far as i know, there are several kinds of people are at the high risk for glaucoma. First one is people with high blood pressure, owing to hypertension is the most important risk factor in most glaucoma. And people get vitamin deficiencies are easier get glaucoma as well. In addition, positive family history is a risk factor for glaucoma, it's more common for people get glaucoma who's relatives has this medical record. Therefore, in order to prevent it, it is recommended that you should exercise regularly, take adequate rest and maintain balanced diet. Here's to your health.
