Is blepharitis permanent?

Can blepharitis be cured? Or it will affect me in the rest of my life? Any idea?

    Don't worry...One of my friend was diagnosed with the same thing many years ago. Just make sure you wash your eyes each night and you will get it under control. She has been wearing make-up and contacts and have no problem. But don't let up on the eye wash.     Blepharitis may be a chronic, ongoing condition, more or less permanent , or may come and go. In many cases, blepharitis is a common condition that can be controlled but not cured . The single most important treatment principle is a daily routine of lid margin hygiene. Apply a warm wet compress to the lids. for 5 to 10 minutes two to four times a day, depending on the degree of symptoms.Other ways are: keeping your eyes clean; oral antibiotics ; stetoid eyedrops; ; antibiotic creams .
