Can sleep deprivation cause dilated pupils?

  Yes, it is possible for you to get the dilated pupils from lack of sleep. When you get the lack of sleep, the eye nerves will work in disorder. The dilated pupils will be caused by the busy work and depression. The disorder healthy problem may cause the dilated pupils too. But you'd better go to see the doctor and have the good treatment.

  Well, in my opinion, it is possible to have dilated pupils, when you are lack of sleep. Generally speaking, when you did not have a good rest and were lack of sleep, your blood pressure will become higher. In this situation, it is likely to have dilated pupils, for high blood pressure can be the common cause of dilated pupils. Also, you should know that drinking alcohol is very bad, and can lead to dilated pupils, too. So just be careful about them. If you have any problems, just go and see your eye doctor.

  The main reason pupils dilate is to assist with vision in dark areas. Since you are lacking of sleep, your body must experience some extent disorder, which will make your pupils dilate. Because the nervous system controls the muscles of the irises, the response of the nervous system to different stimuli results in involuntary pupil dilation. Another commonly cited reason the pupils dilate is in response to excitement. When a person is so tired, he or she is easily to get dilated pupils.
