According to the context, I can learn that you try to tan your skintone right? So, here is the point, generally speaking, the tanning light is different from sunlight, it will give out some special beams which will damage your eyes. The worst situation is to make you feel dizzy. So, my advice for you is to head down or close your eyes in that room. Or better yet, just choose to get sun tan instead of that way.

Yes. It is bad for your eyes if you open your eyes when you in a tanning bed with naked eyes. There are much of ultraviolet rays of when you in a tanning. Those ultraviolet rays will cause the burn of cornea and damage your retina. It will also contribute to cataracts. So, if you like tanning, Take yourself a pair of uv protection sunglasses.

Yeah, it is so bad for your eyes to open in a tanning bed because the strong sunlight may hurt your visual nerves. Your eyes may get red after a while when your eyes stare directly at the sun. You'd better wear a pair of sunglasses to protect your eyes from the uv.
