What causes yellow rings around the eyes?

I have yellow ring around pupil. Is it common? What causes that? Any idea?

    Yellow circles under the eyes are often caused by a lack of sleep. An increased salt intake or water retention could also lead to yellow circles under your eyes. Or it could be side effect of eye allergies or dermatitis. If you are under this case, you could apply cold compresses to your eyes to reduce swelling and decrease the appearance of yellow rings.     If you have yellow rings around your eyes, you'd better go to the doctor as soon as you can. That is really weird and bad. As far as i could know, people with hepatitis may got such situation. Though it is just a yellow rings on your eyes, but it shows that your liver are sick and need to be treated. So, you shall see doctor immediately.
