Can I wear gradient sunglasses for driving?

I have a pair of gradient sunglasses and I wonder if I can wear them for driving.

    Yes, you can. Gradient sunglasses which are dark on top and lighter on the bottom can cut glare from the sky through the top dark portion of the lens but also allow you to see clearly from the bottom of the lens. They can be used for driving because they allow you see the dashboard clearly and cut the glare from the distance.

    Yes, you can use it for driving because the clear part on the bottom won't dim your view of the dashboard. But they are not effective in reducing glare when driving at night.
