My eyes hurt after staring at computer screen for a long time. How to relieve this?

I have to work in front of the computer screen for a long time every day. Sometimes, I feel pain when I look the view outside of the window. I found that my vision was so blurry and my eyes hurt. What's wrong with my eyes? How to avoid this or relieve this? Any suggestions?

Maybe it is because you stare at the computer screen for a long time, so the muscles around your eyes are strained. You can take a rest every half an hour and look in the distance for a few minutes. Then your eyes won't hurt.

It is quite common for computer workers to suffer from eye pain and dry eyes. When they stare at the computer screens for a long time without seeing other things and blinking your eyes as you usually do, their eyes will hurt when they look at the distance suddenly. I suggest you to apply some artificial tears to lubricate your eyes from time to time and blink your eyes intently to moisten your eyes. Or you can look at the distance or close your eyes to take a rest for a few minutes. Hope this helped!
