I didn't have astigmatism before. Why do I have astigmatism now?

  I think that refractive error sometimes can cause astigmatism and most of situation happen to both of our eyes.

  My doctor told me that aberration of refraction can also lead to astigmatism. Because the visual effects of two eyes are different, the sharpness of retinal imaging will also be different.

  If astigmatism occurs in one of your eye, I want to know if you have ever had strabismus? If the answer is yes, then it is normal for you to suffer astigmatism now.

  Vision problems will occur due to age, the way you use your eyes, etc. I would suggest you take a short break every hour after you use your eyes.
