  It depends on your personality and clothes styles. If you have no idea what kind of retro eyeglasses to try, you can try a pair of rectangular tortoise shell eyeglasses frame. As far as know, such kind of eyeglasses can match many people. It probably match your oblong face. Or, you can try black wayfarer eyeglasses. Hope this can help you.

  Frankly speaking, retro eyeglasses frames have several different styles such like cat-eye glasses, round eyeglasses and wayfarer eyeglasses. Among them, wayfarer eyeglasses are the most popular eyewear. But since you have a oblong face, you can try a pair of cat eyes style eyeglasses. It probably compliment your face. Anyway, you have to try on yourself if you want really know what exactly fit for your face.

  Firstly, you have oblong face, so you need to narrow down your choice to rectangle frame and square frame because the criterion to choose a pair of eyeglasses is widen and shorten an oblong face by wearing frames that do not extend beyond the widest part of the face. Decorative temples also add width to a long face. So The cat-eye eyeglasses may be more suitable for you.
