  After you take the cataract surgery, you'd better take some light food. You should better eat more vegetables and fruits to moisture your eyes. At the same time, you need to drink more water. You should keep in mind that you should not eat the spicy food which will stimulate your eyes. That is very important.

  I believe you should make some adjustment of your lifestyle in order to get recovered soon. Eyes are very fragile no mention you just had a eye surgery. You should buy a pair of glasses to protect your eyes from dirt or other danger; get enough sleep every day to let your eyes recover. If you are a smoker, quit it, and avoid contacting people who are smoking. Wear sunglasses when you go out. As for the supplements, you can keep to your usual diet and get enough nutrition you need. Don't forget to use eye drops to protect your eyes from infection.
