Actually there is no need for you to blink. The time of the laser shoot at your eyeball is so fast that you may have no notice of it. Thus, you don't have to worry about it. You need to have the good rest for the eyes now. After the surgery, you should have the good rest, not smoking or drinking. You could take care of your eyes.

The aim of taking lasik surgery is to correct myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. During lasik surgery, the ophthalmologist will use a laser or microkeratome to reshape the eye's cornea in order to improve visual acuity. Moving or blinking is not a problem. Your eye will be held open with a holder supporting your lid so that you can't blink.

First of all, your should have a steady degree of nearsightedness in recent two years. Secondly, if you usually wear eye contact lens, you should stop wearing the soft contacts for at least one week, while if the eye contact lens that you wear are hard eye contact lens you should at least stop wearing the hard contacts for two weekks. Then you go to the hospital to take an overall examination before the lasik surgery, and only if the index of each item meets the criterion, can the lasik surgery be taken on. In addition, on the day before the lasik surgery, you should not stay up late at night, instead, you should keep in a good mood and had better take a hot shower the night before the surgery. Besides, you had better start three to five days before the day of surgery using antibiosis eye drops, two or three times per day. And when it comes to the day of lasik surgery, you are forbidden to wear any makeup or perfume. As well you may try taking a kind of imitative note training and each time you continue for a minute of gazing. As to the eye blinking, there is usually a kind of machine called an eye speculum that help your eyes to be open in case of blinking. Generally speaking, the time for a lasik surgery is very short, usually only for dozens of seconds, you had better not squeeze your eyes too hard during the surgery. The more relaxed you are, the more successful the surgery will be. Therefore, you do not need to worry too much about the problem of eye blinking.
