Though the weather in Hawaii is cooler than other places in the same altitude, the ultraviolet here is very strong. A pair of sunglasses is a must for tourist. In my opinion, you need a pair of polarized sunglasses with you, because it can cut the sharp glares so that you can see the sights better and protect your eyes from ultraviolet.
