  Well, yes, eye stye can just cause eye infection in some degree. Generally speaking, a stye is inflammation of the eyelid, and it is usually inside one of the small glands lining the eyelid. According to some experts, most of styes are caused by bacteria. And when it occurs, it will also accompany with some other symptoms, such as eye infection. So you need to pay more attention to the bacteria. Or it will just make the situation more serious. For the treatments, you can have cold compresses with cucumber to relieve the inflammation. Also, just wear a pair of eye patch to protect your eyes.
