Well, from what you said, I can see that there is something wrong with your eyes. Generally speaking, we would not have such feeling, however, it could be seen as a sign of eye problems, so you should must alert about it. So, typically, crusty things could be derived from a lot of problems, such as Eye stone, pink eyes, or other serious problems. I here would like to advise you to take a medical exam before it getting worse. You could take an eye surgery to take it out.

Well, from your description, I have to say that you may get Blepharitis. It is a common eye condition, causing the eyelids to be swollen and scaly-appearing at the base of the eyelashes. And when scales become coarser, the surface of the eye becomes irritated and forms crusts. And if this crust falls into your eye, you may feel like you have "something in your eye" and feel discomfort in your eyes. For your situation, you should take some cold compresses at first, and then go and see the eye doctor.

Your eyes may get the infection which may need the treatment. You could just use the eye drops with anti-inflammation to clear the eyes and get the eyes to be moisture. The eye drops which are used to clean the eyes should better be owned the role to get the bacterium in your eyes. You could try this easy way and see the effect.
