Pink eye is a bacterial infection caused by some bacteria. And it is very contagious, which is dangerous for you and everyone around you. For people suffered from pink eyes, part of their cornea may get inflamed that may cause eye pain, blurry vision and light sensitivity. So, you should wash your hands frequently if you have it. You can put some ice on your eyes and change it frequently. Besides, you can drop some eye drops in your eyes, and it can relieve your symptom. But if your eyes become serious, just go and see an eye doctor as soon as possible.

  Yes, it it possible. Usually pink eye is not a serious condition and it can be cured if you have a immediate and proper treatment, while in rare instances, it can cause permanent damage or even blindness because of the long-term effects on vision or eye. So the key is to see your doctor as soon as possible when you feel that you have pink eye.
