  The answer is absolutely yes. Cataract can exactly affect vision in reality. As we know that cataracts occur when there is a buildup of protein in the lens. In that way, it will just prevent light from passing clearly through the lens, and causing some loss of vision.   At the time of the standard of physiotherapy under developed, cataract almost means of blindness, many elderly people for cataracts are very afraid. Nowadays, suffering from cataracts does not mean blind, timely treatment is the key. Though drugs may control the symptoms in some degree, it can not completely cure it. Cataract surgery is one of the most effective treatment methods, in fact, it is a serious surgery, and there is no need to worry too much.
