When can i wash my eyes after lasik?

  Well, generally speaking, you are not supposed to wash your eyes in the three weeks after the surgery. Or it can be dangerous you're your eyes. In the first stage, you can wash your face, but at the same time, you should make sure that your eyes are not moistened by the water. In common, after the surgery, your eyes will be very sensitive and fragile. So if you let the water in your eyes, your eyes will be infected easily by the viruses. That is why you can not wash your eyes in the first several weeks. Also, you should avoid eye injuries by wearing a protective shield at night and with naps until you are advised by your doctor. And do not overuse your eyes by watching too much tv or computer.

  You should wait for at least two weeks after the lasik surgery. Since the second day after your surgery, you could clean your lid margins carefully and tenderly with cotton bud soaked with saline water. But you still need to avoid head bath or water splashed into eyes for at least two weeks. After the surgery, there is an open wound on cornea which can be infected easily. You also should avoid swimming for at least one month. Don't rub your eyes as longer as possible. Don't use eye liner for at least one month. Whenever you go to any circumstances with strong light, wearing sunglasses is a must to avoid corneal scarring. Keep a good habit of using eyes could effectively help recovery. Good luck.

  I think you had better observe your doctor's instructions and wait patiently. Avoid getting water into eyes. You can use moistened cotton pads to clean around the eye area. Usually, after a lasik eye surgery, you need to go to hospital again in two weeks for another checkup, and I think your doctor will allow you to wash your eyes then.
