No, they are safe for your eyes. if you feel uncomfortable that just because you use them in a wrong way. You can use water to clean your eyes in time. I have dry eyes and I use coconut oil on them every day and it helps a lot. Organic coconut oil boasts antiviral, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal, and pretty much antizombieapocalyptic properties. The lauric acid in coconut oil is used by the body to make the same disease-fighting fatty acid derivative monolaurin that babies make from the lauric acid they get from their mother's milk.so coconut oil will not damage your eyes.

Don't worry. Coconut oil can't damage your eyes. However, as a kind of oil, it does overwhelm our eyes, because the eyes can't fully absorb them. The discomfort and the blurred vision are really disturbing. When you get this problem, you need to clean your eyes with pure water or physiological saline at the first place. Then blink your eyes to make the oil gathered at the corner of your eyes, then wash your eyes again. Milk can be helpful as well. Soak your eyes with milk for seconds, and then clean the eyes. Use artificial tears to relieve your eyes in the end.

I am sorry to hear that, but don't worry, it's not a big deal. Coconut oil is known for it's natural hair conditioning property for generations, thus there are no substances specially irritate our eyes. Nevertheless, if your eyes feel uncomfortable, you'd better blink your eyes to the oil out from your eye, then use plenty of water to flush your eyes, salty water would be best. However, if things remain the same and don't improve, it is recommend that you should go to see a doctor and get some medical treatment in consideration of your eyes.
