Well, yes, I have to tell that it is normal to have double vision after the eye surgery. And for double vision, it is a condition in which, whenever you look at any object, you see its two images rather than one. And also, it can be dangerous when you have driving. And because you have taken surgery, you may be infected. And in common, after eye surgery, it is easy to get infection. And then, double vision occurs because of the eye infection. For your situation, it can disappear in several days, if you take some ways to avoid the eye infection. Also, you can just go and see an eye doctor so that he can give you some advices.

After the squint surgery, the patient's eye might appear reddish, get double vision and become notably distressing for two to three weeks after the surgery, but most patients recover right after two to three days. Swimming is prohibited from two to three weeks after the operation, or until full recovery of the patient. Anti-inflammatory and antibiotic drops are prescribed for the eyes, to be used for the first two weeks after the surgery, to help avoid infection and reduce inflammation in the eyes, following squint surgery.

After you take the squint surgery, it is normal for you to get double vision as the side effect because of the dryness of the eyes. If you treat it well with the good care, it will be temporary and be recovered soon. You need to have the good rest for the eyes. You could use the eye drops to moisture the eyes. In addition, you could also use the warm compress to release the symptom.
