  Yes, it is possible for you to get pink eyes because of upper respiratory infection. The pink eyes are the infectious conjunctivitis which could be happened through the infection from the bacterium. They are easily happened in summer and spring through the infectious touch between people with pink eyes or among the bacterium which infects easily. However, once you get the pink eyes, you'd better not go out which may infect other people. You should treat it as soon as possible. No matter the medical care or the home remedies you do, you should treat the pink eyes carefully to make your eyes feel comfortable again.

  It is possible to get pink eye due to upper respiratory tract infection. The upper respiratory tract includes nose, sinuses, pharynx and larynx. If you got upper respiratory tract infection, you might develop symptoms like running nose, coughing, sneezing, and sore throat and so on. What symptoms you have is depending on which part of your upper respiratory tract got infected. Sometimes, it will cause conjunctivitis, which is called pink eye too. Conjunctivitis can occur with adenovirus which is a cause to the upper respiratory tract infection too. Adenovirus is a kind of wide spread DNA virus, which can cause conditions of respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, urinary system and eyes.

  Well, yes, pink eyes can be caused because of upper respiratory infection. As we know that a contagious ailment like pink eye is caused by inflammation of blood vessels. Often termed as conjunctivitis, the infection affects the eyes through allergens, bacteria or viruses. so when you have upper respiratory infection, it will just affect your eyes, and then lead to pink eyes in your eyes. for your situation, you can try several things to speed up the healing process of pink eyes fast .and in that way, you don’t always have to use medication to alleviate the problem. For example, you can put some ice on your eyes and change it frequently. also, eye drops will be effective too. anyway, just be careful about it.
