Well, generally speaking, low blood sugar can lead to dilated pupils. As we know that blood sugar is a disorder of blood sugar metabolism which may result in diabetes in later life. It is a condition in which the pancreas produces too much insulin, causing the blood sugar to drop. So it can lead to sweating, and dilated pupils. Also, some symptoms such as nervousness, irritability, fatigue, depression, disturbed vision and headache can appear too. So just control the blood sugar.

Yes, the low blood sugar can cause the dilated pupils because of the weak blood capillary. In addition, the dilated pupils can be caused by the high blood pressure, surprice, shock or other things. If your eyes get infection, you may easily get the dilated pupils. However, with low blood sugar, you will be weak at the whole body system. You will be easily hungry. Then your eyes may get infection easily.

As a matter of fact, I can see that you are worried about your eye health. So, you should know that dilated eyes could be resulted from a wide variety of causes. However, low blood sugar level would simply not lead to dilated pupils despite the fact that it could indeed greatly affect our vision and eye health. If you observe dilated eyes on a regular basis, you should go for an eye exam and take effective measures to deal with the problem.
