What causes herpes in the eye?

I was diagnosed that there are herpes in the eyes. What caused it?

    Well, generally speaking, there are many causes which will lead to herpes in your eyes. But on the other hand, the most common cause is the eye infection. So when your eyes are infected by some allergies, it will be easy for your eyes to have herpes in eyes. And at the same time, they can be contagious. Herpes virus can spread from the eye's surface layers to deeper parts of the cornea. If you have eye herpes, it can lead to irritation, sudden and severe ocular pain, cloudy cornea and blurry vision, sore and red eye, and headache. If no proper treatment is applied, it can be dangerous. So you can use anti-viral eye drops and ointments, which are effective to treat superficial corneal infections. Or just go and see the eye doctor.

    Eye herpes, so called ocular herpes, is a kind of virus infection of the cornea. It can spread through close contact with infected people or through self contact when you have herpes condition on other part of your body. Actually eye herpes is one kind of keratitis. In the case of eye herpes, you will find white spot on your cornea. For eye herpes patient, their eyes are red, watering, irritative, and sensitive to light with foreign body sensation. Precaustions should be taken for eye herpes seem to be recurrent. It is very important of sanity of eyes. Never use Fingers to rub eyes. Fingers touch everything in our daily life. If you need to wear contact lenses, make sure that you wash your hands completely each time before you wearing it. Also wash the contacts carefully each time before and after you use contacts.     The herpes in the eyes are caused by your eyes infection through the invisible bacterium which may affect your eye vision. You'd better go to see the doctor and take the treatment by transfusion which could make you get the recovery for about ten days. You should take care of this eye disease which will cause the blindness if you are treated properly.
