Does strabismus cause headaches?

Is it possible to get headaches if i suffer strabismus? Why?

Yes, it is possible for you to get headaches if you suffer strabismus. If your strabismus belongs to the oculomotor nerve paralytic,it will cause the headache. Strabismus refers to the symptom that two eyes can't and stare at its target. The extraocular muscle disease can be divided into concomitant strabismus and paralytic strabismus. The former eye has the position of deviation at temporal side. The eyeball is without dyskinesia. In addition, no diplopia is the main clinical feature. Paralytic strabismus has restricted diplopia in eye movements. With dizziness disgusting gait not to be steady, the systemic symptom of strabismus will cause complex symptoms. If you have the headache because of the strabismus, you'd better have the good rest for the eyes. Although the strabismus can be treated through the surgery, it is not very effective and safe.

Well, so sorry to know that you have strabismus. Sometimes people would neglect its seriousness, but it is really bad and could lead to some problems, such as sour muscles, headaches and dizziness because it affects your nervous system . So, you need to take care of your eyes and consult a doctor to see what could be done to fix the problem.strabismus also has different types so you need to identify your type.

Also, it can lead to eyestrain, blurry vision, double vision, and headaches. Generally speaking, strabismus can correct by itself. But on the other hand, you can have surgery to correct it. And also patches and corrective glasses will be effective. You should know that strabismus is typically caused by injury to the eye orbit. And at the same time, injuries to the brain, such as with a stroke or head injury can lead to strabismus too. Also, there are also some other factors, such as sickness or stress. Anyway, just be careful about it.
