Yep, it could cause that. Subconjunctival hemorrhage is known as hyposphagma, which is described as the white of the eye is filled with blood without any pain due to the small blood vessel in the sclera is broken. It is found by others or looking in the mirror. Hyposphagma appears when you with heavy lifting, vomiting, sneezing. Or some medicines would cause it. Of course, alcohol could cause that as well, especially consume excessive amount of alcohol. Because liver function would be affected, then influences the eyes. For this condition, you had better drink no more alcohol drinks until it heal by itself. After that, you should avoid drink too much alcohol if it is not necessary.

Well, yes, what your mother said is right. Drinking alcohol can lead to subconjunctival hemorrhage. As we know that subconjunctival hemorrhage is similar to an ordinary bruise on the skin and it's like a bruise of the eye. It usually appears as a single, concentrated spot of red, or many scattered red splotches, on the white of the eye. And they can be caused by high blood pressure. So when you have too much drinking, it can make your blood pressure become high. In that way, it can definitely lead to subconjunctival hemorrhage. So just quit drinking. Also, you should know that some injury to the eyes can lead to them. In addition, sometimes they occur after a bout of coughing or vomiting. Anyway, just avoid these things. And have a good rest.

Yes, alcohol can cause subconjunvtival hemorrhage. If you have alcohol intoxication, you will have subconjunvtival hemorrhage. Having subconjunvitival hemorrhage is a painless condition and it doesn't affect your eyesight at all. It will take two weeks for your body to absorb the blood into your blood vessels and you will be fine. If you want to treat it, you should not use eyedrops as eye drops will slow down your body's natural healing process and result in the worse condition. You should do more exercises and eat more nutritious food like oranges, watermelons, garlic, nuts and other food to improve your circulatory system.
