Can glaucoma cause double vision?

  Well, glaucoma cause double vision indeed. Glaucoma will damage the optic nerve , which carries information from the eye to the brain, is in the back of the eye. There are three types of glaucoma: open-angle glaucoma, closed-angle glaucoma and congenital glaucoma. Different types of glaucoma have different symptoms. If you have open-angle glaucoma, you are likely to notice is loss of vision. Side vision is often lost before central vision.   The answer is YES. Glaucoma often causes eye pain,intraocular pressure increased, eye irritation, dizziness and blurred vision. And there are many reason causes double vision, problems with any part of the vision system can lead to double vision, such as Infections of the cornea, Myasthenia gravis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, Aneurysms, etc. If you are not sure about the causes of doubler vision, the urgent medical attention you should be paid and as soon as see your doctor.
