Yes, double vision can be caused by eye infection. Well, it is a condition in which, whenever you look at any object, you see its two images rather than one. This is also referred to as double vision. It is totally different from blurred vision, in which you see a single blurry and unclear image of an object. It can severely harm your decision-making capacity and quite often, if you insist on driving, put others as well as yours life at risk. And for your situation, you may have double vision after your eyes have been infected. So you should first find out the cause which can lead to your infected eyes, so that you can heal it. Of course, you can go and see a doctor who can give you some advices.

Yes, it may cause the double vision. The eye infection must be caused by the dryness or the contagiousness from the dirty things like the dust or the sands. Too much dryness of the eyes from the eyes infection may cause the sudden change in the eye pressure which directly causes the double vision. Your eyes will have the blurry vision. Thus, you'd better have a good rest for the eyes, getting away from the computers. You should not use the eyes in front of the computers for a long time with no rest. What's more, you should eat more food with vitamin C to moisture the eyes.
