Are there bifocal eyeglasses with no degree at the top part?

I am 50 years old have some trouble when looking at very close. My family suggest me to buy a pair of reading glasses, but I want to wear them all the time. Are there bifocal eyeglasses with no degree at the top part?

    Yes. You can make the bifocal eyeglasses clear in the top part and prescribed for reading in the bottom. Just go to any of optical store and they will know how to make that for you.

    No. I've never heard that the bifocal eyeglasses have no degree at the top part. I think all the bifocal eyeglasses have two parts, one is for near vision and the other is for distant vision. So there's no bifocal eyeglasses with no degree at the top part.
