Why do I have different colors in two eyes?

People always have the same colors in both of their eyes, but why do I have different colors? My mother have blue eyes, my father have brown eyes and I have one blue eye, and one brown eye. I don't have any diseases in my eyes or don't have injured in any way.

Different color eyes are geneted by your father and mother. You have one eye color from your mother and one eye color from your father. You are so lucky and I am so admire you to have such beautiful eyes!

The color of eyes are generated when you are in your mum's womb, it just means that one chromosome could not be dominant in the developing of the iris. Eye color, specifically the color of the irises, is determined primarily by the concentration and distribution of melanin.[3][4][5] The affected eye may be hyperpigmented (hyperchromic) or hypopigmented (hypochromic).[6] In humans, usually, an excess of melanin indicates hyperplasia of the iris tissues, whereas a lack of melanin indicates hypoplasia.

I have the same eye color problem almost the same to you. I have brown eyes, my mother have brown eyes and my grandmother have brown eyes, and now my little daughter have brown eyes too! It seems that we have inherited the same genes! Love our pride brown eyes!

You probably have a condition known as heterochromia, which is REALLY cool!!
