Can water decrease the effect of uv protection in sunglasses?

I have a question about the effect of water on sunglasses.
I recently had a lazik operation done on my eyes and the optician gave me these special sunglasses that said 100%UV protection, when i wear them and look into my phone or surfaces there is this rainbow colour effect but I don't know what kind of lenses they are.

Anyways,I accidentally dropped them into a tub of water! And since it is very important for me to protect my eyes i was wondering if tab water could damage or decrease the amount of UV protection my sunglasses have?
The next time I wore them i got abit of a headache and that has mede me even more paranoid.

If anyone could put my mind at ease i would be very grateful.

Additional Details

PS, in my country tab water is used for washing dishes and showers and such but it is NOT pure drinking water.

In common tap water won't decrease the effect of uv protection in sunglasses, but solutions like soap water, detergent, and shower gel can could damage or decrease the amount of UV protection of sunglasses. In common, sunglasses have UV protection because there are UV coating on the lenses. And solutions like soap water, detergent, and shower gel may damage the UV coating that make your sunglasses decrease UV protection. Besides, if you didn't keep your sunglasses and let the lenses get scratches, it can also decrease UV protection that give your a headache when you wear it in the sun. So, check your sunglasses now.
