Do eye vitamins help macular degeneration?

Does taking more vitamins help macular degeneration? Or what can i do to reduce the process of macular degeneration?

    Yes. Some vitamins can help people reduce macular degeneration. As far as i know, taking more food contains with vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E can help reduce the risks from macular degeneration. Besides, Foods rich of lutein and zeaxanthin can also help the eyes from macular degeneration. You can gain it from dark green, leafy vegetables.

    Age-related macular degeneration is a medical condition which usually affects older adults and results in a loss of vision in the center of the visual field because of damage to the retina. Aging, family history , macular degeneration gene, obesity and exposure to sunlight are all causes of macular degeneration. Vitamins can help macular degeneration ondeed. We can eat fresh fruits, and vegetables to take vitamins supplements. Some vitamins can work for eye sight, such as vitamin D and E. Some are good for puffy eyes and dry eyes, for instance vitamin C and vitamin A.
