Low iron can cause lots of problem, such as anemia, red eyes, nerve deafness, etc, and eye twitching is one of these problems. You'd better intake more food with iron such as animal liver, fish, egg, etc, or you can take pills as supplements. By the way, take more vitamin C to help your body absorb iron.

As far as I know, low icon is not the cause for eye twitching. Instead if you have low iron, you will get eye soreness, bluish tint to the whites of the eyes, and papilledema. Some of the eye twitching can be the magnesium deficiency and some neurological conditions. If you have long periods of eye twitching, go to see your doctor and indicate an underlying condition.

Well, yes, low iron can cause eye twitching in some degree. Generally speaking, there are many reasons which can lead to eye twitching. But on the other hand, you should know that low iron can also cause eye twitching. So just be careful about it. According to some experts, iron deficiency can lead to other eye problems, such as eye twitching, eye floaters, dark circles, puffy eyes, even red eyes. At this moment, you need to intake more iron. Also, to treat eye twitching, I will suggest you take a cold compresses on your eyes, and repeat it several time. And then it can just disappear. Besides, eye drops will be effective.
