Blepharoplasty needs to remove the extra tissues of the eyelids, to restore a full scope of vision as functional surgery or to make eyes look bigger as cosmetic surgery. We all know that eyes are very delicate and soft. The surgery would be done some incisions on eyelids. So the more complicated of your surgery, the more bruises and swelling of your eyes. The dark circles are discoloration from broken blood vessels there. During your recovery, there are some home remedies you could apply to expedite your healing. Take the medicine and instill the eye drops prescribed by your surgeon. These medicine and eye drops could reduce inflammation and provide relief from pain. Use the ointment to lubricate the eyelids, which should be very swelling. Apply the lukewarm compress on your eyes, which could effectively help blood flow to reduce the bruises. As time goes by, your eyes would get better, so does your dark circles. Don't worry.
