How long does it take to go blind from cataracts?

  It is possible to go blind because of cataracts. We need to pay attention that cataract is the world's leading cause of blindness. Vision can become severely impaired from cataracts, but vision can be restored after cataract surgery is performed. The time of it taking to go blind depends on your level of cataracts.

  Well, so sorry to hear that you might have got cataracts. So, as you can see,cataracts is one of the most serious problems in relation to our eyes. And the causes for it could be extremely complicated, and it could be divided into several different types, which makes it more annoying. But, generally speaking, according to some cases, it takes about several months to ten years before the patient go blind,depending on a lot of factors.

  Yes, it has great possibility for you to get blindness because of cataracts. However, different people own different constitution. Thus, the time to get blindness after being diagnosed with cataract is different. Some people take care of the eyes and get the blindness after ten years. However, other people may get blindness after the intensification of the eyes in less than 5 years. In a word, people should protect the eyes.
