Well, yes, you can get corneal ulcers because of blepharitis. As we know that when the clear coating and cornea has been rubbed or irritated, it is possible to have a small tear or cut in your eyes. And then it can lead to eye ulcers. And also, blepharitis is one of the most common eye infections and often extremely irritating. So it is possible to have corneal ulcers when you get blepharitis. At that moment, you may suffer the pain. In some cases, it can lead to vision loss. For your situation, you can use a cold compress and Ibuprofen to prevent eye pain. But I will suggest you go and see an eye doctor as soon as possible.

Blepharitis can lead to complications including corneal ulcers and conjunctivitis. Blepharitis is a sub-acute inflammation or chronic inflammation of the eyelid margins, hair follicle and gland tissue of the eyelash with crusting and scaling and causes the patient to have irritation, burning and itching of the eyelids. It is caused by bacteria, allergic reactions, seborrhea or skin inflammation of excessive grease. Blepharitis can be divided into scale-like scraps blepharitis, ulcer blepharitis and canthus blepharitis. Sometimes, the ulcer blepharitis becomes scarred and gives rise to trichiasis, the eyelash stimulates the cornea, causing the cornea ulcer and influencing the vision.

Well, as a matter of fact, since blepharitis is quite serious and infectious, which could affect some other parts around your eyes. Therefore, it is possible that blepharitis could give rise to corneal ulcers , if it is not taken care of at a good time. This is possible because blepharitis would infect your cornea and eyeballs, so you need to pay due attention to deal with it before it is too late.
