Can polarized sunglasses protect your eyes from the light from welding?

  The polarized sunglasses will not protect your eyes a lot in the welding because they can only filter the refracted light and the reflected light. However, there are the electric welding glasses for the people working in the welding which can protect the eyes one hundred percent. If you need it, you can buy from the mechanical shop.

In this way, they help reduce eyestrain. Besides, Polarized lenses will also help enhance an image and its color so that your surrounding will have bolder and brighter colors and look clearer. But you should also know that even if they can protect your eyes from much light, they are not designed to protect you from the light from welding. Because the light from welding are so strong that polarized sunglasses don’t have this function. So you should use some glasses which are specially designed for the welding.
