Does the curve of eyeglass lenses affect vision?

I just bought a second pair of glasses, same perscription, but the frame itself is more curved than my first pair. The first pair was kind of straight across frames, very little curving, but in this new pair the lenses curves upward a tiny bit more. I think it has to do with fitting inside the frame. Does this affect vision or are the lenses made the same no matter the shape of the frame?

    That depends on a few factors, such as , the location, the material of the lens, and so on. Lenses usually range from 50 dollars to 300 dollars.

    They will not affect your vision. There are glasses with curves. You can have a look at some sports sunglasses. Many of them have curves. They just wrap around our eyes. This can better protect our eyes.

    I think there won't be anything wrong with your glasses if you give them the right prescription. And the glasses won't affect your vision. You can have a try. If you can't see things clearly after your put on them, you can consult the optician for possible reasons. There is a kind of sunglasses which has big curves which can wrap our eyes. It is a kind of style. There is nothing wrong with this kind of sunglasses. You can search on the internet to find some pictures of these sunglasses and then you won't doubt about this anymore.
