People with trachoma can have foreign body sensation, photophobia, tearing, and a lot of mucus or mucus secretions. After a few weeks, the acute symptoms will disappear, and get into chronic phase. In this period, you will not have any discomfort, but only feel fatigue. If it is cured by itself or cured by doctor, it will not leave a scar. But during the chronic phase, if you are in endemic area, it may have superinfection and exacerbation. When there is active pannus in the cornea, the irration will becomes significant, which will lead to vision loss. In the later period, the symptoms will more obvious, it can seriously affect vision and even lead to blindness.
