  Polycarbonate is a strong material that can hard to get broken. So they are widely used in protective glasses. Polycarbonate lenses are lightweight and they are lighter than other materials, thus they are more comfortable to wear especiallly when people in the hard environment. In addition, Polycarbonate lenses are impact resistant, so they are difficult to get shattered to cause damage to the eyes. That's why polycarbonate is widely used in protective glasses, such as sports glasses and safety glasses. They are also widely used in kids eyeglasses.

  Polycarbonate is a strong materials that used in many applications. This materials are great flexibility and strength. Besides, the material can also prevent UV rays. While protective glasses are require impact-resistant, UV protection so as to shield eyes in a certain conditions. So, polycarbonate is the idea for making protective glasses.
