  There are especial made sunglasses for riding. sit is called cycling sunglasses. They are worn for providing the eyes UV protection, preventing dbris and winds as well as correction vision if you need (you can buy prescription cycling sunglasses). Or at least, you shall choose sunglasses with polarized lenses, that is called polarized sunglasses which can filter glares from water surfaces, metal pieces, and mirrors.

  Sunglasses for biking should be designed not only to protect the eyes, but also to provide the rider a wide vision so that they can both provide the eyes from harmful rays, wind, dust and particles and don't block the vision. Therefore, a rimless design glasses are good for biking, like Smith Optics' Pivlock V90 sunglasses, which can provide a wide range of vision for the riders.
