Can I change my eye colour permanently without contacts?

  No. You cannot permanently change your eye color without contacts. I've never heard that people can use surgery to change eye color permanently. Even if it can be done with surgery, it is extremely risky and would not recommended.

  No. The eye color is determined by gene. To change the color of it is as impossible as permanently changing the color of your skin.

  Currently there is no way to change eye color permanently, but in the future it possibly will. The surgery may implant an artificial iris ON the natural one, and cover it.
