Can I have lasik surgery with strong prescription?

I have -13.00 in my right eye and -12.00 in the right. Can lasik surgery improve my vision very well?

    Your prescription is so strong and lasik surgery cannot correct your vision completely. So you can't get a good eyesight even if you have lasik surgery. If you have lasik surgery with strong prescription, you are more likely to require a laser re-treatment but your cornea should be thick enough so that your surgeon can do it safely.

    Laser surgery can't improve your vision to a satisfactory level if you have strong prescription. You can talk to your doctor and figure out other way to improve your vision.
